Donation Instructions
Thank you for your generosity in donating a gift of publicly-listed securities to the BC Cancer Foundation. To transfer your shares or mutual fund units to the BC Cancer Foundation, please download the Securities Transfer PDF Form and complete it with your broker.
Remember, our full legal name is BC Cancer Foundation. Make sure to use this full legal name or we may not be able to receive your donation.
Here are step-by-step instructions:
- Complete the transfer form
- Fax this completed form to our broker (Attn: Margaret Unser / Fortunata Sacco) at 604-257-7444
- Copy the completed form by fax to the BC Cancer Foundation at 604-877-6161 or toll free 1-888-906-2873
Upon receipt of the transferred shares (which can take a few days, or weeks in the case of mutual funds), the BC Cancer Foundation will issue a tax receipt for the average of the high and low trading prices of the securities on the date they are received in our account.
